Getting started with Video
Are you thinking of buying some lights or equipment to shoot products?
The choice & range of equipment is possibly overwhelming so perhaps watch & learn from simple lighting set-ups & determine if these will be the right sort of lights or what sort of equipment might be necessary for what you would like to achieve & get hands-on experience using this type of equipment before you buy.
This workshop is especially aimed at small businesses and individuals who have little or no experience of photographing products but need to learn how in a very simple way without spending a fortune on lighting equipment that might not be suitable.
The workshop is limited in numbers to ensure individual help and attention. Participants will also experience the skills and techniques learnt by others in the group.
Individuals will participate in the workshop and are encouraged to bring:
1. Their own camera (DSLR), lenses & cards. Working knowledge of manual control of the camera is advised.
2. If possible a laptop (with Adobe Lightroom or similar capture software installed ) with a USB cable to link & tether between the laptop & camera.
One laptop & USB cable (but that may depend on your camera tether ability) will be provided if necessary & but please provide a USB key if you want to take your images away.
